IRM in collaboration with Palladium is implementing a project to improve access and quality of education in selected primary and middle schools of Buner.
Project Objectives
- Enhance the instructional practices of teachers through capacity-building sessions on multiple learning and assessment strategies and the use of supplementary material
- Improve the student performance in languages, Mathematics, and Science
- Improve the instructional practices of teachers in teaching and implementing health and hygiene behaviors and practices of students
- Increase the capacity of parent-teacher councils so that they may understand their roles and responsibilities in assisting schools in providing quality education to the community’s children
Project duration – January 2022 – February 2023
Intervention Area – Buner, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan (3-4 Adjacent Tehsils)
Number of beneficiaries 20,000 (10,000 girls and 10,000 boys), 475 teachers (240 female and 235 male) from 97 primary and middle schools (49 Girls School, 48 Boys School)
