The Public Schools Reorganization Program (PSRP) is a transformative initiative aimed at revitalizing the educational landscape in Punjab by addressing key challenges in underperforming and under-resourced schools. Launched by the Punjab Education Foundation (PEF), this program is designed to elevate educational standards and ensure equitable access to quality education for all.

The Institute of Rural Management (IRM), a key partner in this initiative, is leveraging its extensive experience in managing educational projects to oversee the program’s successful implementation. Under PSRP, PEF has entrusted IRM with the management of 114 schools across three districts—Chakwal, Rahim Yar Khan, and Khushab. These districts were selected for their unique challenges and potential for improvement through focused interventions.

IRM officially began managing these schools on October 1, 2024 with the total enrolment of 5,937 students. Alongside enrollment growth, IRM has prioritized improving the school environment, focusing on cleanliness and student hygiene. We are confident that these efforts will lead to substantial increases in enrollment and notable improvements in school facilities. Under IRM’s management, this transformation will not only enhance the educational experience but also positively impact the surrounding communities.
