The Earth is what we all have in common. ~ Wendell Berry The planet is facing a biodiversity crisis, accelerated by human activities like deforestation, habitat destruction, and pollution, all of which are intensified by climate change. Pakistan’s rich wildlife, including species like the snow leopard, Indus dolphin, and pangolin, is increasingly under threat. In an effort to advocate for the issue, Threads of Conservation project presents a creative solution that blends environmental advocacy with traditional craftsmanship.

This initiative uses artistry to depict endangered species on a range of products, aiming to raise awareness and inspire action for their conservation while supporting local artisans. The project involves women artisans from 10 districts of South Punjab, Pakistan crafting over 200 products to be used for advocacy all by showcasing the delicate beauty of nature’s most vulnerable creatures.
