The British Asian Trust and implementing partners as part of the ‘Enterprise Acceleration Programme’ aim to support the long-term sustainability and economic resilience for existing women microentrepreneurs aged 18–45 across Punjab and Sindh. Over 3 years, we will deliver a 3-pronged approach to microenterprise growth, facilitating scalability of high-potential microbusinesses, job creation and strengthening access to finance and market linkages. This will be achieved through supporting enterprises to increase their revenues and obtaining external financing to grow their enterprises. As part of the programme, BAT will convene lenders and key stakeholders from the broader enterprise ecosystem to address the challenge of financial inclusion for young entrepreneurs and women.
IRM is the implementing partner of the British Asian Trust for the Enterprise Acceleration Programme (EAP), a multi-year initiative designed to promote inclusive economic growth. Implemented from November 2025 to November 2028 in the Islamabad Capital Territory and Rawalpindi, the programme focuses on strengthening the performance and sustainability of women-led microenterprises. Under EAP, IRM will work with 450 existing women entrepreneurs to enhance their business management and financial planning skills, expand access to viable markets, and establish structured linkages with financial institutions and key market actors. By addressing both capacity and access gaps, the programme seeks to increase enterprise productivity and incomes, while supporting the creation of sustainable employment opportunities and long-term economic resilience for women-owned businesses.
