Technical Vocational Skill Training under Ba-Ikhtiar
Institute of Rural Management is implementing Technical and vocational Skills Training project that enhances the employability, entrepreneurship potential, and economic participation of 2,100 rural women, directly contributing to the Ba-Ikhtiar Project’s broader goals. This is one year project from Dec 15, 2025 to December 16, 2026 and is funded by PPAF & PTCL Group. 
The Technical Vocational Skill Training under Ba-Ikhtiar Initiative represents a comprehensive intervention to empower 2,100 women across 22 districts of Pakistan through integrated technical and vocational skills training, digital inclusion, financial literacy, and market linkages. Implemented by the Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, this project addresses the critical gap in women’s economic participation by providing market-relevant skills alongside enabling resources that facilitate sustainable income generation and entrepreneurship.
IRM is responsible for designing and delivering hands-on, market-aligned vocational and skills enhancement training in coordination with PPAF and its Partner Organizations (POs). This contributes directly to the Ba-Ikhtiar Project’s overarching objective of poverty reduction through inclusive economic participation of women.
